I think I read somewhere that Cy's parents were born near Lyon. In fact you can probably trace his heritage back to Napoleon. His parents moved to the US for the warmth and to give their kids the best in fried foods that they could afford.
Don't deny his heritage Jen! This is exactly how the stolen generation started!
In the famous words of Napoleon Dynamite....."GHOOOSSHH"
Jenny, my deepest apologies for the mix up. I was under the impression that the French had such keen interest in the ugly dog because it was one of their own. Now I understand that they were merely reflecting on the imperfect world beyond their borders with a sympathetic and caring eye.

It's such a shame it died, I would have liked to see it shaved.
That dog was not french. Dogs here are chic and attractive.
That was an american dog (couldn't you tell just by looking at it?). I think it lived in LA.
Please stop insulting french pets.
