Suit shopping on Saturday morning was successful but also a bit thrilling seeing the groom all gussied up! I think it was the first excursion that has finally made the impending event seem real.
Among other wedding related list ticks was the wedding cake stand (pretty white Donna Hay), my dress fabric, Mum's outfit fabric and the bit I was unable to refrain from posting about...
Our first wedding present!
My folks have given us this vintage Korean blanket box dated in 18 or 1900's with every detail hand crafted, including the nails! It stands at about waist height (mine) and will store all kinds of goodies. It has loads of character and we love love LOVE it!
(We are also really thrilled about owning furniture that did not come from IKEA!)
