I have not seen The Queen yet but I think Helen Mirren is worthy of any acting accolade. Usually the British chooks without youth, plastic surgery or fascinating personal lives get over looked by Hollywood but not this time! Helen the magnificent just got 2 golden globes in one night! Hurrah for Helen!

but sarah is the avid awards show watcher...
Let me clarify - I am the avid Oscars watcher (usually with another project on the go for boring speech bits) and keeping an eye on the GGs gives you a good indication of which way the wind is blowing...
