I found it amusing that after three pages of panning the crap out of self help guru's and their so called wisdom, the author still needed to put the obligatory disclaimer at the end in a single short neat paragraph...
"Of course, not every self-help book is rubbish. Many are written by qualified professionals and contain sensible advice based on research and fact. Even some of the dodgier titles contain nuggets of wisdom among the mountains of claptrap. Just don't forget to turn on your bullshit detector".
