All science-y? Pft!

A diversely gifted bunch, the SRF collective possesses abundant talents. We’re athletes, craftsmen, interior designers, musicians, epicureans, horticulturalists and linguists. Is there anything at least one of our number doesn’t excel at? Probably. But it certainly isn’t life drawing!

This Saturday Changeable Art Space is showcasing a collaborative collection of works of photography & photographic installations, acrylic, pastel, pottery and life drawing at the North Sydney Community Centre biannual open day & exhibition: Show Us Your Art. You may even chance a glimpse at creative works by your fellow SRFians. You can indulge your love of the arts, or at the very least, your love of ogling nude people in a PG setting.

The day runs from 10am - 3pm along with the North Sydney Markets and live music in Civic Park, Cnr of McLaren & Miller St. North Sydney . There are also free workshops from 11 to 1:30pm to allow us all to expand our talents beyond our already colourful and artistic repertoire.
If anyone can squeeze this in around their other noble pursuits, say so and we can form a posse!

(Should have mentioned that the nudes, though good, are not ours.)

Would love to but will have to see if I'm up to it, trying very hard not to divert any energy away from recovering from this godawful flu.

OK, so the posse seems to be Carmel, Peta, maybe Jenny (poor Jenny!) and me. Mattwa is timing his look-see for 10ish so he can scoot off to Perisher so I might try getting there at a similar time then maybe look around the markets (breakfast even?) and what ever else is on. Sound ok?

The earlier the better for me, breakfast sounds great! Then I can come home to rest before Sunday's extravaganza. Where shall we meet?

Let's do it the Olde Fashioned Way (as opposed to the lazy, mobile communication device way) and meet on the council chambers steps. (200 Miller St)

Cool. What time? 9? 9.30?

OK. So plan update - meeting at North Sydney Cellars (cnr Berry and Miller) at 9:30am. At this stage the group is Mattwa, Nicolai, Carmel, Peta, Noodle(?), myself and whoever else shows up.

See you tomorrow!
