I'm missing the blizzard of the century back in Chicago. Here's lake shore drive all snowed in. I heard they closed it overnight since 20 ft. waves were crashing onto the road. Plus they have THUNDERSNOW!

There was thundersnow when I was in London -- I stood outside Waterloo Station in a massive blizzard and heard an almighty crack of thunder -- crazy. I never even knew such a thing existed before then.
Hard to imagine in this sweltering heat!
wow! that snow looks beautiful! probably wouldn't be all that fun to be stuck in it, but it sure is purdy!
