My beer affected trip home from the AFL which included some fat fingered text messaging and a disproportionate tanty about train timetabling, also lead to a blog posting that appears to have gone off somewhat half-cocked. So in the sober light of Tuesday (Yay!) morning, let’s start from the very beginning.
Inspired by a recent MasterChef challenge, Jenny and I have conceived of a plan to put the SRF kitchen skills to the test, pitting one team against another to produce the best Beef Wellington a bunch of nerdy day-jobbers can produce (on the first attempt). As prompted by Gretta's comment on Saturday, before we decide a venue, or indeed any of the other details, let's pick a date! You've got till next Tuesday to cast your vote. (If you can get to both, you can vote accordingly!)

sorry, won't know by next Tuesday. we may just have to stand back and wait to see if we can make the date everyone chooses. To this end, I guess it possibly also puts us out of the hosting duties.

First 2 weekends of June are the Sydney Film festival so until the program guide is out i cant commit

I think it's because it includes folks who voted for both.
