We watched a doco on them, and their cofounder Ingrid Newkirk is a weirdo! Her tactics don't really do PETA any favours, and even within the org there are people who thinks hse's a loose cannon. She puts animals way above humans and comes across a little derranged...

I wonder if she protests againt other carnivores, like Polar Bears, Grey Wolves and just about every breed of snake?
