Happy Easter Everyone!

That's right, the christmas decorations are down, and sundry easter treats are already available in supermarkets across NSW. Suzy and I came across them on the 2nd of January, and on the news we heard someone saying that they saw them on New Years Eve in the Gong.

Now we have three or four precious precious months of Cadbury Cream Eggs and Hot Cross Buns to fill the cold and empty mince-pie shaped hole left in all our hearts that comes with the end of the Christmas period.

If only someone would invent a seasonal treat to tide us over the mid-year period between Easter and Chrismas! I demand Halloween treats in the stores by June at the latest!

Come, brothers and sisters, and march with me for snacky glory!

Hmm. I agree on this drought issue. Once those hot cross buns wear off, there's a good five months before mince pies come back. What about something for the winter solstice or HM’s birthday? Maybe sticky date pudding? Then perhaps a condensed milk based festival in early September to celebrate the start of sweet sweet spring.

I don't think dairy is appropriate for spring. I think a light fruit sorbet would be much better suited to the warming of the world.

Dairy is always appropriate.

Don't get between Sarah and condensed milk dude, it happened to the original matt in our group... and lets just say we had to bring you in as a replacement in second year.
