It's a non-trivia matter

Well I took a look around at trivia options since Kellys decided to commit trivia suicide, the options are sparse I have to say. So far I have...

Berkeley Hotel, Chippendale. 7pm (too early) every other Thursday night (too infrequent). No idea what pub or surroundings are like?

Northbridge Golf course. Not great to get to and I live relatively near it, no surrounding food options. On the plus side the beer is probably cheap.

Can anyone come up with anything better - this is getting desperate.

Has anyone taken a look round other pubs in the area, I looked on the internet but I'm sure not every triv night will be listed there?

Okay, here's some info that I've found:

Believe it or not, there is trivia at our favourite sporting venue:
North Sydney Memorial Anzac Club (starts 7:30pm)
"Join us every Thursday night for Jackpot Trivia. Entry is free and there are plenty of great prizes and giveaways plus a cash jackpots"
http://www.anzacclub.com.au/trivia.htm

Also, there was a RADAR article in the SMH recently that I've re-discovered, and it lists these pubs for Thursday night trivia:
Bronte RSL, Bronte, 8pm;
Forresters Hotel, Surry Hills, 8.15pm;
Gladesville Hotel, Gladesville, 7.30pm

Also, I did some random googling and found that this place also has Thursday night trivia:

Menzies Sydney hotel Sportsbar:
"At The Menzies Sydney hotel Sporters Bar every night is a night to remember - Sporters Bar is the venue for your weekly Trivia Fix. A challenging competition, catering to all levels of trivia knowledge every Thursday. First prize $100 Bar Tab. Finish the night with Karaoke from 8pm onwards!"

However I don't think the karaoke one is really a good option.
That's all I got. I don't know if any of these will be any good or not...

I'm with Mattess. No more Kelly's unless O'Leary comes back.

Good work Noodle, I did see the Menzies night but didn't think it was very us, take a look at the video tour on the website to see what I mean.

A moajor problem with the Anzac club is that we'd all have to show up at the same time so we could show the receipt for football!

Bronte and Gladesville are a hike (although they may yet come into contention) so does anyone know anything about the Foresters in Slurry Hills.
