Firmware upgrades are done automatically done wireless via the router. Do firmware upgrades catch things like codecs?
I did find a few more cool things on it last night - streaming movies from my PC upstairs via the wireless works pretty well. and you can stream from the web too (listened to a Russian radio station for two mins before I got bored and went back to Extras Season 2. I love it.
